Wellness Exams and Vaccinations

We recommend that your pet be seen as early as 6 weeks of age to start a proper vaccination schedule. Your pet will then be recommended to have a series of boosters. These appointments will be scheduled at 3 week intervals.

Dogs: Are recommended to be seen twice a year for vaccinations and exams.

Cats: Are recommended to be seen once a year for vaccinations and exams.

Rabies Vaccinations

Our office offers 1, 2, or 3 year rabies vaccinations. If you are wanting a 2 or 3 year vaccination for your pet the following requirements have to be met. Your pets' current rabies can not be expired, and your pet has to have received 2 consecutive rabies vaccinations. Please visit with Dr. Baird in your scheduled appointment if you are wanting your pet to receive a 2 or 3 year rabies vaccination.

Our surgeries are scheduled Monday-Thursday weekly. Dr. Baird performs routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, dentals and feline declaws. Please call the office if you have any questions regarding a surgery or pricing.

Drop off or Walk ins

At Fulshear Animal Hospital drop offs and walk ins are accepted but not recommended. We would like to provide an appointment for you and your pet to be able to have scheduled time with Dr. Baird.

In House Laboratory

Our office is capable of performing many routine laboratory tests. Most results are ready the same day in house. If needed we are able to access outside laboratories for further diagnostics.

Micro chipping

Microchipping your pet is a permanent form of identification. Our office will provide you all the information you will need to register your pet into the microchip database. It is very important to register your pet!
